It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Richard V. Pagani, born on November 10, 1935 in Manchester, Connecticut, to the late Felix and Pauline (Reale), Pagani. Richard entered into God’s kingdom on December 25, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his life partner of 33 years, Rosemary MacDonald; mother and father, Felix and Pauline(Reale) Pagani; brother, Felix T. Pagani; brother in-law Richard Post, Pat Mastromarino; daughter, Donna Kauffman; son, Richard (Rick) Pagani; daughter in-law, Jean (Wright) Pagani and grandson, Anthony (Tony) G. Pagani.
Richard is survived by his sisters Josephine P. (Pagani) Post of MA; Diana Mastromarino of CT, Gloria Ragosta and husband Mike of FL; sons and daughters, Thomas M. Pagani & his wife Michele of CT; Christine Fournier and her husband Ricky of CT; Theresa Paciga and her husband Leonard of CT; Thomas Buckland and Partner John Capasso of CT; and his extended family; sons Robert MacDonald and Cindy Thompson of CT; William MacDonald of CT; Paul MacDonald of MA plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richard was a veteran serving in the U.S., Marine Corps., a classic car enthusiast and an amazing mechanic. He was an avid salt and fresh water fisherman spending many years at the cape. Later in life, you could always find him tinkering on something to make it work again or work better. He had a special spot for all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many fond memories on the farm in Eastford, CT with his grandson Jeffery.

A Memorial Mass will be held on January 10, 2024 at St. Bridget Church, 74 Main Street, Manchester CT at 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at St. James Cemetery, 368 Broad Street, Manchester, CT at 12PM.
